The loss of Booger the pit bull terrier was almost more than Bernann McKinney could bear.

I cost her $50,000.00 dollars and she had to sell her house but Bernann McKinney has got 5 baby pit bull terriers direct clones from her Pit Bull Terrier that passed on, named Booger.

Sometimes the pain is so great that we would do just about anything to get our dog back again.  This is exactly what Bernann McKinney did.  She felt a need for Booger so badly that she had him cloned and now she has 5 baby pit bull terriers who should be exactly like her original dog Booger.

Dogs are extremely hard to clone but this is a great step towards doing the impossible and that is getting your dog back after he/she has died.  Of course they will be completely the same in body but their personalities will of course be different as they experience life and grow up.  In this case she has 5 baby Boogers.  I wonder how that would work?  Will they all be the same or will they all be different?

And there is the question of how long they will live.  Cloned sheep have not had a good track record in living that long.  I hope these baby dogs will live a long life and Bernann will be happy with what she has done.  I don’t think life will ever be the same for her because now she and her dogs will be celebrities.
