Cook 1/2 pound finely ground meat in a cast iron pan. When just about tender add some chopped potatoes and carrots. If you want to season the stew add a little salt, not much.

Combine all ingredients once they have cooled.
If you want to use this with kibble you can make a little gravy by first dredging the meat in whole wheat flour and frying in a little oil.
As you cook the stew, add water until a gravy forms. This always works when my dogs don't want to eat their kibble.
Spoon a little over the kibble and he will eat his dinner!
